New Police and Fire Department 911 Call Center building

This  project constructed a new Police and Fire Department 911 call center building  in Hilo. The mechanical scope included two (2) redundant air cooled chillers  to provide the central cooling to the 24 hour facility. Redundant air  handling units were also provided for the main dispatch areas in the  building. Redundant computer room units were provided for the main Telecom  room. The fire protection system consisted of a wet pipe fire sprinkler  system, a preaction system for the dispatch areas and a clean agent chemical  system for the Telecom room. The Mechanical scope also included a 6,000  gallon fuel storage tank, two (2) 50 gallon day tans and the exhaust system  for the two (2) 600 kw generators.
