The Heʻeia State Park General Repairs project involved the rehabilitation and repair of existing park facilities and site infrastructure to address deteriorated building components, structural deficiencies, and drainage issues. Improvements included repair and replacement of damaged concrete slabs, sidewalks, foundations, and masonry elements; restoration of deteriorated structural wood framing, posts, beams, and bracing; replacement of damaged siding, trim, and other building envelope components; repair of corroded roofing, fascia, and gutter systems; upgrades to drainage and utility piping; and correction of site drainage and ponding conditions. The project addressed deferred maintenance needs, improved structural integrity and safety, enhanced facility functionality, and extended the service life of park facilities for continued public use.
